Born in May of 1991, Sandrah Tubobereni, the creative Director of TUBO, an emerging Nigerian designer, best known for her creativity in redesigning the traditional African bridal outfits, wedding dresses and chic prêt-à-porter fashion clothing, came into the Nigerian fashion scene in November 2014 when she switched from her career in Business Development and Finance.
She is a creative and self motivated MBA graduate with distinction in MBA Global Financial Services from Coventry University, U.K. and a second class upper in Economics (B.Sc.) from Madonna University, Nigeria.
As MBA student, she interned at Ecoluxe Fashion, London, a U.K. Based eco-fashion exhibition and promotion company where she helped take advantage of the 230,000 clicks on the company’s website to create an online boutique in order to sell the company’s ethical ethical products.
She managed organization and customer specific problems, met and exceeded my deadlines, worked in and even led teams that achieved the excellent overall objectives. She also excelled in asset portfolio management and hypothetical online stock trading simulation activities.
She has proven leadership and entrepreneurial skills as creative director of Tubo Clothing Nigeria Limited), that would meet the expectations of any international brand.
Having worked as a financial consultant for Innovatech, Nigeria, CFID, Nigeria and Ecoluxe London, also as Assistant business development manager Swamp blue pearl, Nigeria and Starwalker limited and marketing executive at Uche Nwokedi & Co, she has developed effective communication, multi cultural sensitivity and interpersonal skills
In 2016, she released the debut collection of her brand, titled “Lé première by TUBO”, which gained her local and international recognition and invitation from international platforms like Africa Fashion Week London, Aim Higher Africa, Nationwide press features, interview on National TV, pages of national papers and magazines like ThisDay Style, Genevieve Magazine, A-list blogs like Bellanaija and so on.
Sandrah has the vision to change the world through fashion and make “TUBO” a multi award winning international brand present not just on the international runways and high streets but in the wardrobes of stylish Ladies, celebrities and First Ladies like Michelle Obama.

The vision is to remodel the traditional African bridal dresses. Some of her worldwide best selling bridal outfits are the OTISI set, specially designed for the modern day Igbo traditional bride and the Adesuwa dress, a must have for every bride who truly wants to represent the culture of the Benin Kingdom.
- TuboRTW – Ready to Wear pieces, ranging from work wear, wedding guest outfits, casual easy breezy outfits and so on that can be pulled off the rack in store, whether on line or in our showrooms.
In 2016, every piece from the collection was a master piece. The Bellah dress was sold to hundreds of women across the globe. It was a showstopper at wedding and served as inspiration to industry leaders and upcoming fashion designers, stylists, bloggers and enthusiasts alike
- TuboWoman – haute couture dresses, specially designed and bespoken to meet the individual needs of the woman.
In may 2016, the brand released its debut collection le premiere by tubo a cohesive collection that communicates a visual metaphor between the Fragility, Femininity and Strength of women. The collection is inspired by the acknowledgement of who the #TUBOwoman is and how experiences have evolved her through and over time.
Portraying her thoughts using different Color Palettes, Designs, Texture and Construction, this debut line up commits itself to the art of telling its story with wearable garments that personify the #TUBOwoman as one with a penchant for beautiful garments that evoke more that just aesthetic but GRACE!
This collection brought about international brand recognition and promoted sales globally. In August 2016, TUBO for the first time showcased on the AFWN runway, featuring her first ever offering “Lé premieré”
